I warn you to NEVER open your mouth for this dentist!!!!!!! I have always had good teeth and great dental care.Since I have moved to this area I have had a hard time finding a good dentist.I went to Dr.Gretz office last week because I had a cavity and a crown that had fallen off and the remainder of the tooth sharp and broken. He pulled one of my teeth that could have been filled and pulled out the remainder of the tooth that had broken off. He obviously had no idea what he was doing. I have never had a dentist use a drill for an extraction and when he was extracting the other tooth (that was not broken) he broke it off,when it broke I immediately had pain shoot to both of my temples and had a lasting headache.He proceeded to take his drill to both broken teeth that were broken off to try and loosen them I am assuming. I thought he was going to break my jaw when trying to extract the bottom tooth.I was there on Tuesday and here it is Sunday and I am still in pain (a lot) and I think it may be infected. He sutured both areas of extraction,I have never had sutures for an extraction.I have also received a notice from my insurance that a procedure that was done during my cleaning is not covered by my insurance. I will address this with the dentist office and better not have to pay for this. He also drilled more teeth than he said I had cavities and when I said it hurt because it was not numb,he proceeded to inject randomly into my mouth many times. When I left I barely could talk, still had blood on my chin (that they should have cleaned), had a headache, and my lower face including my nose was extremely numb.I have been going to the dentist since I was 2,I am now 53.I have never had an experience like this in my entire life and hope I never do again.

Dr. Gretz JR is a freakin joke, he obviously does not care one bit about his patients by his demeanor I have actually seen him walk outside when he has a waiting room full of ppl and 2 ppl back in exam rooms and he walks outside to bs on the phone. He cracked the base of a tooth he was making into a nub for a crown so it had to be pulled because of his negligence. I have had him do to root canals on me and both got infected several times til finally the abcess was so bad that they both sub-sequently had to be pulled. His fillings are crap and eventually will fall out and his waiting room is totally gross and his father i a REAL piece of work, and only works on teeth of elderly ppl in personal care homes or mentally challenged ppl who basically nobody cares about so he treats them like crap and gets away with it cause even if they do complain, who is gonna listen. I have never had the misfotune of being seen by the daughter but I hear shes a real teeth butcher too. So what do u got, an incompetent old man in charge of the office, his son who has the demeanor of a spoiled child and a daughter who butchers mouths. I WARN YOU PPL if u ever get to read this cause the site prolly wont post it, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THE GRETZ FAMILY OF DENTISTS! If u like what teeth you have and want to keep them, then PLEASE just find another dentist!

I wanted everyone to know about the old man Dr Gretz Sr. I used to take my daughter there when she was just a few years old. Around 4 or 5, Dr Gretz Jr (i did like him) found a tiny cavity he said he could just fill in the office. But being that young my daughter wouldnt cooperate. So he said I would have to take her to Frick and put her under. I did, and his father Dr Gretz Sr was there. The nurse brought my daughter out after and said the doctor filled 2 cavities. Which sounded weird to me. I went home and used a flashlight to look and 5 of her back teeth were COVERED in fillings!!! I was so angry I called and when he got on the phone I said my daughter only went in with one tiny cavity and I looked there are 5 covering her teeth! He said Yes, there were 5. Thats all he said. My daugher had Medicaid (welfare insurance) at the time so I'll let u put 2 and 2 together. I've heard horror stories of fellow coworkers that went there and their whole face got infected. I seen it first hand. Im just glad I got my daughter out when I did. We go to Dr Foster now, I give him a 5 star rating and recommend him to anyone!
