I have been seeing Dr. Meckler for about 15 years I unfortunatly had moved away and needed to see a different dentist and I was told I had a cavity in my wisdom tooth and they filled it. I moved back to the area and the filling feel out, I went back to Dr. Meckler who said there is no point in filling a wisdom tooth that needs pulled anyways, I had all 4 pulled and after I didn't listen to him and smoked I got dry socket! I called that morning and they saw me immediatly and relieved my pain. I will never go to anyother dentist then Dr. Meckler he is a very kind and gentle dentist and rather funny as well and makes things easy for you. I highly recommend him!

I have been going to Dr Meckler for 20 years. He was a true life saver 3 years ago when I had a bicycle accident and chipped 5 teeth. He saw me right away and was able to save all of my splintered teeth. The great care of the entire staff is always appreciated.

I would avoid Meckler at all costs. Everyone in the office is extremely rude. I don't even feel like a person when I go there. You will be treated terribly if you have any form of government insurance.

For years, Dr. Meckler told me I needed braces but refused to send an evaluation to my insurance company. He told me it would cost fifteen grand to fix my teeth (only two of my teeth were even crooked) and that my insurance would not allow it (I was stuck there, I could not go anywhere else and he knew that). Once I turned eighteen, I demanded that he evaluate me and send the information in. I was approved in a matter of days. The cost? Three thousand dollars. I lost my insurance when I turned nineteen and had to empty my life savings to pay off the bill. During the process, he never answered a single one of my questions, nor did anyone else. I came home in tears out of frustration many times. After almost two years of having the braces, I got them off and he put a permanent retainer on (a wire behind six of my teeth - top and bottom). The wire is very fragile. If I eat anything other than oatmeal, soup, or Jell-O, the bonding breaks. I've had to have it fixed three times since getting it in November. And each time I've called, they act as though I'm an inconvenience, even though I'm the one that's losing time and money. One of my teeth that wasn't crooked at all has shifted because the permanent retainer doesn't offer much support. He refuses to do anything about it, though. PLEASE, find someone else, or you're in for a poor experience.
