Dr. O'Keefe is very genuine and always makes me laugh. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It's not like going to other dentists, this office makes you feel much more at ease.

Their staff is very friendly and professional, and I'd been going there for years with no issue. Last time I went I was shuttled to a different dentist who yanked my tooth rather than making any attempt to fix it. It hurt for months. I'm pretty sure this was because of a gap in insurance, all of the sudden I became a second class patient. They should have negotiated payments rather than withhold good service. That was the hardest bill I had to pay. Well, I am across the insurance gap, think they can find my tooth an reinstall it? I think not.
Also, they do not return emails form second class patients.

Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I love how attentive they are here. Even when notified that they have a personal phone call, they always wait to take it later. Their full attention is always on me and it makes me feel special. They go out of their way to make everyone feel equally respected and cared for. I've seen client favoritism at some of the other places I've been, and I really appreciate the extra effort they make to avoid that here. I really appreciated that they let me rinse every so often during my dental procedure. I've been to other dentists that never let me rinse and its awful.

I have a very low pain tolerance due to a medical condition, and this dental practice goes out of their way to make my visits as comfortable as possible. I actually like to visit my dentist - it feels like you're hanging out with friends and they really do take a personal interest in you. This practice is WAY different than your typical dental office. They show compassion with a great deal of humor mixed in, the good natured teasing and jokes and laughter that go along with the visit are a sedative for the soul. My teeth have never been in better shape, either. I don't have dental insurance, and to date they don't accept the Monroe County Dentemax card - but my dental experiences have convinced me that I'd rather keep Dr. O'Keefe than switch practices to use the card. Hopefully they'll read this review and change their mind about the card. ;-)
