I came to Dr. Sheklian because he was one of the very few dentists that had a laser that had been known to help canker sores. My daughter, who is seven, suffers from ongoing canker sores and she had one so bad, that we decided to try this procedure we had seen on an episode of "The Doctors". My expectation was that I would be shuffled in and out because I was not a regular patient and then charged a high price, however I really didn't care. What happened was a whole different story...

Dr. Sheklian listened, sympathized, educated and did the laser treatment as a consult. He gave us 30 minutes of his time, when this treatment only requires about 5 minutes or even less. I watched my daughters' hands relax in the chair. Dr. Sheklian did not offer any false hope about this procedure as it is relatively new for the treatment of canker sores. He also offered us other solutions to help it along, even showing us websites on how to help diminish my daughter's suffering.

The offices are immaculate and the staff is warm and responsive. Everyone was smiling at 8am!
They have state-of-the-art technology combined with a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. I have been with my dentist for 12 years. While I have no complaints about my current dentist, I feel I have more to gain here. I haven't been treated with this kind of respect by any kind of medical/dental practice ever! I felt like he really cared about us. Try to find that in this day and age!! Getting ME to feel comfortable in a dentist office is a miracle!

My seven year old daughter loved him and said it was ok if the treatment doesn't work. She said "It didn't hurt at all and he was sooo nice!"
