It takes a few efforts to reach a human being at Dr. Garcia's office. The receptionist is not very personable and acts like she'd rather be doing almost anything over working in the office. Dr. Garcia himself is a nice guy - approachable, calm and relaxed. My teen-ager likes him. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of. Their prices weren't outrageous, but they were a little too expensive.

They have a very good professional reputation. I know that I'm under the care of an expert. They were somewhat easy to reach in an emergency. They didn't answer the call at first, but did eventually call me back. Before they recommended a treatment plan for me, they looked into my medical history a little, but I still didn't feel like they had a thorough understanding. I was uncomfortable starting treatment when they didn't know where I was coming from.

The waiting room here is open & comfortable. I have always gotten an appointment that works with my schedule. Dr Garcia explained all the risks and benefits of the treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. He listened closely to everything I was telling him, and showed a lot of attention to detail. I've never had to worry about him over medicating me or my 10 year old or jumping to diagnoses without taking the time to learn about the whole problem & it's history.

I never have to worry about them overbooking appointments. They definitely believe in quality over quantity here and it is much appreciated. I wouldn't feel safe under anyone else's care. They are one of the few psychiatrists I trust. They paid very close attention to me the entire time I was there and all of my questions were answered. Their office was one of the quietest, most peaceful places I've ever visited. I was able to relax very easily. I wasn't greeted at all when I entered their office. I could tell they noticed I walked in, but they still didn't acknowledge me.
