They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. Whatever cologne they were wearing was one of the best I've ever smelled. It made my experience that much more enjoyable. I was very glad that my appointment went the way it did. They were so much more knowledgeable than I ever expected them to be, and they gave me fantastic advice.

Definitely! I was shocked and horrified!
Did this provider ever take personal phone calls while in the appointment room with you?
He/she would never do that! Their full attention is always on me.

Dr. Blaes is a spot on diagnostician. I trust his care for my adult daughter who has adult onset bipolar disorder. He has a very caring manner and is precise with medication. He has been excellent about being on time for appointments and making himself available for urgent appointments and emergency calls. The appointments are as long as they should be. He is not a therapist. His primary function is to determine a course of therapy, which for my daughter included medications. He is calm and supportive. He is also helpful in assisting in the selection of therapists. Dr. Blaes is not deficient in any way. A good psychiatrist.

I dropped him after he didn't answer a call-back request (my first), but that was just the last straw in a lot of missteps on his part. He does get recommended by many professionals around here but they've never been treated by him so I'm not really sure on what they're basing their recommendations other than sharing an insurance plan (CIGNA). I strongly recommend against him.

Peter Blaes tends to submit prescriptions in dosages less or greater than he intends. Once, this practice almost killed me. He should be avoided.
