First time visit with my 4 year old. Walked in and it felt very disorganized in the space. People sitting outside of main doors waiting to get in for appointments. The desk staff seemed frazzled and I had to ask for new patient forms myself...twice. They were late by 30 minutes. The dental hygienist was very warm and welcoming but the space in which she had to work was horrendous. It felt dirty inside and we were led to a back room where my sons cleaning would be done. We stopped at a home and she told him to take a seat. There were no coat hangers in sight (not even in the waiting area) and there was no seat for me to sit in while she took care of my 4 year old. I was not asked if I wanted to take a seat nor was I asked if I wanted to hang up our coats. She was very nice with taking her time and asked if I had any questions. After she completed his cleaning, I expected an actual dentist to come in and do a quick check in his mouth since that is what I have experienced at every dental visit throughout my life and I was told that if she saw anything suspicious then he would have to come back for an appt. since there is no specialist there but every other Wednesday. What?!!! I had to make an appointment for a specific dentist but he was not there?? I felt slighted. If this is the way they run their practice, they better pay the hygienist more than the dentist because the dentist is off somewhere else collecting a paycheck without actually examining the mouths of their patients who make appointments to see them. Very disappointed.
