Not at all, it was the perfect temperature

I was given false information before my treatment and I at the time of treatment. On three separate occasions prior to our treatment, the office verified that they were once again a participating dentist under BCBS (we had been patients but had changed dentist when they were no longer on our plan). THEIR office contacted us to say they were once again a contract provider under our policy. Our policy allows for 2 FREE cleaning a year and maximum pay out of $1000/year. Today, we received a BCBS statement showing our accounts have been debited for $167 and we have an outstanding balance due of $83. This means we no longer have $1000 to spend on additional scheduled "specialist" dental work. Adding insult to injury at the time of checkout, my husband and I were both told "you owe nothing" we are covered under your plan. According to claim information received today, they ARE NOT a contracted provider. Furthermore, the recommended specialists are not under our policy and we have found that the prices we were quoted were 2 to 2.5 times higher.

I will accept fault for not verifying their coverage prior to our visit; however, I never expected to be contacted by a previous dental provider and being told an out-and-out lie.

I know the dental "business" if off but this is totally unethical. I will be filing an official complaint.
