After a heart attack on January 7th, 2014 and many tests performed between 1/7/2014 and 1/19/2014, Dr. Waters performed a Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery on my heart on January 20th, 2014. Throughout the entire time I was hospitalized my experience at Mercy Medical Center North Iowa was exceptional. From emergency care staff, to blood test, to chest X-rays, to EKG's to Echograms, to Angiogram technicians, to the actual surgery and the follow up care provided me, was the best I could have expected. All the staff treated me with respect and provided me with excellent care and lots of time devoted to all my questions and concerns. I am so thankful for the team of skilled professionals on the Cardiac floor who were so helpful every step of the way. Actually, 6 weeks have passed and I am STILL receiving guidance and information from the Doctors and staff to ensure I have the knowledge I need to proceed form here on the road to recovery and the confidence I need to make healthy lifestyle changes for my heart, my life, and my family.

Was seen with little to no wait. Was given 4 options in dealing with my issue & follow up was arranged. I have confidence in Dr. Beasley's care.

My experience from beginning to end was very informative and professional. I would recommend DR Ahari to anyone. I truly appreciated his operating room concern before the procedure began and his bedside manner. Thank you for helping me with your skill, knowledge and ability.

Consultation with Dr Beasley was purpose of this appointment. He reviewed the recent echocardiogram I had and shared his concern for having a second opinion at this time. He answered our questions well and it was decided to pursue a second opinion at Mayo .

When I arrived and was checked in I had hardly seated myself when the nurse asked for me. We when to the exam room and she took her tests and said the Doctor would be right in. I thought there would be the usual wait but he came right away and told me the results of my tests and sent me on my way with a new prescription in one of the shortest times I have ever had at a doctors office. Was very pleased with the experience.

We had a little mix up with appointment time, but not a big problem; we just did errands first. Dr. Beasley and his nurse are always very knowledgeable and clear with questions and telling me how to continue with medication. Everyone in the heart center is also very personable and helpful. I feel very confident that I am receiving the best care.
