I had been a patient for years. About 14 years ago I became disabled. In spite of that I continued to make and keep appointments with Dr Max as scheduled, calling only to reschedule when I had an infection I didn't want to give him or his staff, or - earlier this year - when I fell and had a concussion and was not allowed to drive to his office (or anywhere else.) At an earlier appointment this year he attempted a complex repair, which failed. I went to another doctor for help and discovered I had a mouthful of untreated cavities and other problems which will cost me $15,000 to fix. Today I received a CYA letter -sent to an incorrect address - cutting me loose as a patient after 31 years of treating me and my family and giving me 30 days to find another dentist. Also, beware the office manager (his spouse) - she yells at people.
