I went to Dr. Delgaudio to get a second opinion and he used the endoscope to look into my sinuses. I have had this done several times before by other doctors, and never had it HURT SO MUCH. As he was inspecting me, he was watching the monitor and paid no attention to the tears that were streaming down my face, he just continued to identify all the things he could see and impress everyone in the room with his endless knowledge of the sinuses (the room was filled with people, including the PA and 2 residents, who never had my consent to be in the room). The assistant eventually handed me a tissue to mop up the tears, so i’m glad she was there! My face hurt until the next day, when the trauma he inflicted triggered a migraine that i woke up with. this doctor has absolutely no compassion!

I saw this guy for my tonsils, which had been causing me lots of problems. I had always been a snorer, and was later diagnosed with sleep apnea. Now I'm not the normal sleep apnea prototype at all. I'm young - 22 years old, and not overweight at all. I had previously seen ENTS in my hometown of Boston who tried to get me to wear a mouth retainer thing at night for this, but I was just like oh helll no. But the snoring/apnea wasn't the only issue. Whenever I got strep (2xyear) IT WAS SO BAD. I ended up in the ER frequently because I couldn't swallow anything -- not even water. I'd get so dehydrated. But after waiting 20 minutes in the waiting room to see Delgaudio, and paying a $15 copay, then waiting another 30 minutes in the exam room, he told me that there was no way he'd take my tonsils out, and they were probably just enlarged from my last bout with strep (even though that had been 3 months ago) and that 2x a year was no reason to get them out. He didn't seem bothered at all by my snoring/apnea despite my youth/healthy weight. So on this drama went until I finally found a GOOD ENT (Dr. Herman at Atlanta Snoring Institute) who took one look in my mouth and immediately declared "THESE THINGS ARE HUGE! They need to come out ASAP." Fast forward one month, I've had the tonsillectomy, do not snore anymore (after 22 years of snoring!) and FEEL AMAZING. No more sore throat, no more problems sleeping, no more trouble swallowing. Take that Delgaudio -- you jerkface.
