The place is very clean, but most of the staff seem aloof and not really interested in making you feel comfortable. The waiting time is long most times. I have had two appointments cancelled with no previous notice. The last appointment for a routine cleaning, they called me the day before to remind me. When I showed up, my name was not in the computer. Needless to say, I had to go back home. I checked at home and I had two business cards with appointments for 2/19/13 and 4/22/13. Today I called to verify that the 4/22/13 appointment was in the computer. It was not. I do not know what they do but appointments disappear. My son went for a cleaning at the beginning September 2012 and again at the end of February, 2013. The insurance covers the cleaning every 6 months. He was 2 weeks away from the 6 months and they wanted to charge me $45. After I told them that the insurance booklet says $20 for an additional cleaning during the year, they charged me $20. I just changed facilities, and won't be going back to them.

I do not but I had been going to this office for more than 10 years and there is only one word to discribe it unique. my experience there is very positive, they make you feel like if you are in your home. And is not only me all my cowrker go there and they have the same opinion. I concider Dr Alvarez one of the must talented dentist in Miami, without offend "those". I have done there root canal, crown, deep cleaning ( I know I really need it because I read about it and is recomended do one every 2 or 3 years) and honestly top quality. I really love Dental Group and Dr Alvarez. Thank you so much

Stay as far away from this place as possible. Here are some specific reasons why:
1) They are never on time. In three visits, the fastest I got in was 30 minutes after my appointment ... and it was the first one on the schedule.
2A) They are dishonest. I was told that I had to have a "deep cleaning" (for $400). I checked with my father-in-law (who is a dentist), and he stated that is patently untrue. A "deep cleaning" is only for individuals who have severe gum loss. because it cleans exposed roots. Not what I have.
2B) They are really dishonest. After doing the quickest, least thorough "cleaning" I have ever experienced in 30+ years of going to dentists, the dental assistant told me that I had to get a "deep cleaning" to clean under the gums. Ummm, that's a blatant lie.
3) They threaten you. The dentist, when he did speak to my wife and I (separately) told each of us that we needed work, and if we didn't get it, our tooth would split in half, and we would lose that tooth. My wife has never had a cavity in her life. Do you have any idea how far gone a tooth has to be to split in half? Slightly farther than zero cavities.
4) They bully you. The dentist does not talk to you about the total amount you have to get done ... instead, they send you to a "business office" where, when you question the amount of work that needs to be done, a manager tells you "you have to get it done." Why, you ask ... "because the dentist says you have to get it done," he replies, and then shows you a picture of your ugly tooth, pointing randomly to some staining to make his point "look ... see this here ... this is why you have to get it done." Where is the dentist to explain it, or defend his diagnosis? Nowhere to be found.
5) They do shoddy work. They gave my wife four fillings to help with her sensitive teeth. Charged us $400. They did them in 15 minutes, did not smooth them out (to blend in with the rest of the tooth), and within a week one of the fillings had fallen off. Garbage.
6) They don't answer the phone. Try calling them. Is there any way to talk to a live person? Nope ... no options other than to leave a message. Oh, use the emergency line ... and they try to charge you $50 for calling as an emergency.
These guys are scam artists. I am reporting them to CIGNA.
