SEE DR. SANCHEZ AT YOUR OWN PERIL. After treating me with pain medication for years, I recently discovered that Dr. Sanchez was writing me prescriptions for dosages well in excess of what my diagnoses called for. When my new insurance company started questioning why he was writing me prescriptions that were in excess of what was indicated, Dr. Sanchez refused to correspond with them to justify the medication levels, and eventually forced me to leave his practice without finding a suitable replacement medical provider. He is constantly late for appointments (I have waIted over 4 hours on numerous occassions), he never remembered my conditions or seemed to agree with any of my concerns, HE ALWAYS SEEMED MORE CONCERNED WITH MANAGING SYMPTOMS RATHER THAN DIAGNOSING ILLNESS, and his office staff (led by his mother-in-law) are atrociously inept. He charges $50 per page of any letter he writes on your behalf, plus an extra $50 for his signature on anything other than a prescription. He also charges for any medication called into a pharmacy, and requires an office visit (and full diagnostic charge) for any prescription.

I would NEVER recommend anyone going here. Dr. Sanchez is a kind, smart & caring man and I appreciate his service. HOWEVER, the 1st appointment I went to I was in a position where I needed to be seen that day. Well, over 3 hours past my appointment time I was finally seen. After my imaging tests, etc the following week, I had to wait yet another 3+ hours to be seen AGAIN. The wait time is ridiculous. I missed a half day's work both times I went. THEN, last month I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Sanchez to have my Rx refilled. (They said I HAD to have an appt for this). So, I informed them that my insurance had changed, they said no problem, bring it in the day of my appt & it'd be updated then. So, I arrive early for my appt, ask the hispanic lady about whether or not my ins is accepted there, she says it is and I continue on with my appt. The following day, Joann calls me to say that my insurance is NOT accepted there and that I owe an ADDITIONAL $230!!!! Then, she continues on to threaten me with Dr. Sanchez's wife, who is apparently an attorney, if I do not pay immediately. I told of how the desk lady informed me that my ins is accepted there and she dismissed this with saying that that lady only works parttime and doesn't know what they accept or not. ERRRRRRR.... I will never bring my business here again!

Dr. Sanchez is a fabulous doctor, a wonderful person and an unbelievable diagnostician. He often runs late, due to the fact, he spends whatever time is needed with each individual, each time. For some, this is a problem, but for many of his tried and true patients, they know why, and they come prepared. I was at my wit's end, when another doctor, referred me to Dr. Sanchez. I had multiple doctors, had underwent muliple testing, and pain clinics, without a clear answer. My first few trips to Dr. Sanchez noted the exact cause, and a plan of action for dealing with the problem. I highly recommend him. Just bring a snack and have lunch or breakfast before your appointment, and plan to be awed by an old fashioned doctor, with high tech knowledge!
