Dr. Loewe and his excellent staff make what could be a terrible experience as easy and comfortable as it could be. The facility is the cleanest and most organized I've ever been treated in. Everyone is helpful and caring. All of the staff , including Dr. Loewe take as much time as is needed and never make you feel that you've been rush or are not as valued as the next client. I would never go to any other gastroenterologist in Sarasota.

This man was so rude and arrogant. Why, I don't have a clue. I had been referred to him by a MD friend of mine, Dr. Mike Merriwhetehr, and told he had told me Loewe was very good, but he was so rude and arrogant from the moment he walked in the examining room! Just bizzare! Never even shook my hand. He kept rolling his eyes as I described my symptoms and what a world reknown GI specialist in Racin, Wisconsin had diagnosed me with and done procedures on me for--and this Loewe guy kept arguing with me and telling me the other doc was wrong....and that I just had IBS and needed to get some peppermint tablets at Whole Foods and I'd be fine. (They laughed at Whole Foods when I told them of the conversation with this "doctor"). I finally politely asked this man (Loewe) what his problem was and why he kept rolling his eyes to the back of his head (I swear, you could only see the whites of his eyes...no joke). He got a little embarrassed, but kept doing it. I felt bad for a minute, as I thought perhaps he had a tick or was spastic, disabled perhaps. I told my family physician here in SRQ and he said it was well known that he was an arrogant little man and that he was just probably threatened or intimidated by me..... I don't quite know why he would be.I have no idea what the man's problem was. My husband is a plastic surgeon in another city and maybe that was it, who knows, but it was the strangedt doctor's visit I've ever had. He gave me no advice or any help what so ever. I went to another GI man and he was dear and extremely helpful. What a strange experience at Charles Loewe's. Just bizarre!!
