This is my second spinal surgery with Dr. Alvarez and I can only confirm how incredible he is at what he does. He also performed brain surgery on my mother about 15 years ago following her massive stroke, which is how our family came to know, respect and trust him. Her situation was an ER admission and even the nurses assured us we were in great hands with Dr. Alvarez. He is a true professional and the best in his practice!

I was reffered by my primary Doctor he said Dr.Alveraz was the best neuro surgon there was.Now that I have had the surgery ,I can say yes he is the best .He is direct to the point of what your symptom are, Then you yourself decide how you want to handle your surgery.Im glad I choose to have my surgery. The doctor, his assistant and staff were very straightforward with answers and information. When I asked to see my films, etc, they didn't hesitate to show them to me, but also explained to me what we were looking at. It didn't matter how many times I called with a question or concern, they were patient and happy to help me. They even offered helpful things I didn't know to ask for! They also try treatments before suggesting surgery, leaving that as a last resort. When it finally came to the conclusion that I needed a fusion, Dr. Alvarez scheduled me for the first appointment, the very next morning. I was more than grateful. I've referred them many times, will continue to do so; and hopefully, I'll never need his services again, but if I ever do, I will not hesitate to go back to him. I AM pain-free.
