They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better. I was so impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting them. All my questions were answered, and I feel a lot more confident and hopeful about the future. The office was very easy to locate. I didn't have any trouble finding it at all. I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. Three years ago I developed a inguinal hernia, I had no health benefits with my job of 7 years, the hernia strangulated and I was in dire straights in need of surgery, with out insurance no one wanted to touch me. Dr. Zelnick is part owner in a out patient surgical center in wich I work. He offered to do my surgery free of charge or obligation. Two days later I was in the operating room with Dr. Zelnick. The surgery went without a problem. He saw me for 4 follow ups after the surgery, he treated me no different than a high paying patient. He had excellent bed side manners and his staff, especially Mimi was extremely helpful, I never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen in his office at any given time. Im not sure what would have happened to my health if he had not stepped forward and offered me assistance. I know many patients whom absolutely love this doctor including myself. He is a giving, caring, inteligent surgeon whom goes above and beyond for his patients, I have refered many patients to his practice and will continue to do so, I am almost ready for my 50 year screening colonoscopy, and I now have insurance, Dr. Zelnick will be my surgeon of choice for this procedure as well. Wish this world of health care providers were all like Dr. zelnick, patients would be alot more at ease knowing their health is in good hands.

My mother had diverticulitis and was hospitalized for two weeks. Dr Zelnick was an outstanding surgeon and compassionate human being.

Worst experience ever! I made an appointment with the front desk 2 weeks in advance. His staff told me someone would call with the preparations, but never did. I finally decided to call them with a week left before surgery, and Mimi told me she was busy and would call right back. After waiting 3 days for a call that never came, I tried yet again. I got the same story, she's busy, she'll call back.. Once again, never happened. My wife then decided to go to the office to get the preparations instead of waiting for them. They gave it to her and told her they were just getting ready to send the papers IN THE MAIL today... 3 days before the surgery (after reading the preparations, we see that some were supposed to start A WEEK before the surgery). We then called the office to ask what to do next as some of these preparations could not have been followed properly. My wife spoke to Mimi first, who then handed the phone to the doctor. She began telling him what happened, and how frustrated we were with the sloppy work his staff has done. Instead of helping us solve the issue, he got very irritated and defensive and started arguing with my wife. Seeing that he was no better than the rest of the staff, we told him we did not want to deal with him anymore and we will make sure people know how his office operates. He became more and more upset, eventually to the point where he would not let us get a word in the conversation... He was screaming that he will also pass the word (?) which was totally unbelievable to hear from such a professional, a doctor, a specialist, a surgeon? What happened to The Hippocratic Oath when doctors swear to practice medicine ethically and honestly? To disrespect and scream at patients just because we dare to complain on his staff ???? EXTREMELY unprofessional. Horrible staff, very unpleasant experience.We couldn't trust him with surgery and we found another doctor . I am glad we did.

I will absolutely return. I had an amazing experience, and they were by far the best I've ever seen. They made the extra effort to make sure every question and concern I had was addressed. They make an extra effort to get to know their patients and find out what they need. They always remember me and make me feel very important. Their staff is the most friendly, welcoming staff I've ever dealt with. They are so warm and professional, and make the whole experience that much better.
