Their equipment was the absolute best I have ever seen. Everything was totally new and of the highest quality. I was seen almost as soon as I walked in the door. I didn't have to reorganize my day around my appointment at all. They had a huge selection of magazines in the waiting room. I was able to find some of my favorites and they kept me entertained while I was waiting for my appointment.

For the review I wrote in March of 2011, on this site, Poser has sent me a letter threatening to sue me!

It's been over a year now since Poser performed surgery on me. I'm still disfigured. When I see his commercials, I cry at that thought of anyone else enduring what I've gone through, so I have to repost my review.

Everything I wrote was true. Look up synmastia- that is just one of the problems his surgery caused me.

What is worse, is he never would tell me what really happened during the surgery. He made me feel I was going crazy. He continually talked as if it were a normal surgery. That went on for 9 months when I finally found some answers through 2 other experts in plastic surgery.

None of this is a lie nor even exaggerated. I'm shocked he is threatening to sue me after all I've been through and that I am still going through. I've already spent thousands of dollars, only to have lots of scars and pain. What does that tell you about this doctor?

I believe you can contact me through this site if you'd like more information. I am not just one person who experienced horrible results from Poser's surgery.

I WAS A PATIENT OF DR. POSER BACK IN 1995. HE PERFORMED A BREAST AUGMENTATION ON ME. I WAS YOUNG AND STUPID. AFTER MY FIRST SURGERY I HAD TO GO BACK AND HAVE SCARE TISSUE REMOVED. IT HAS BEEN ALMOST FIFTEEN YEARS AND I STILL AM IN SO MUCH PAIN THAT I CAN NOT EVEN LET MY HUSBAND TOUCH THEM. I HAVE EXTENSIVE NERVE DAMAGE IN PARTS OF MY BREAST AND TOTAL NUMBNESS IN OTHER PARTS. I HATE WEARING CLOTHES BECAUSE IT HURTS. I FELT AS THOUGH I WERE ON A CONVAYER BELT. HE WENT FROM ME TO THE NEXT. AND I WAS OUT THE DOOR. I JUST DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCE I DID. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THERE WERE ALOT OF OTHER THINGS THAT HE KNOWS HE DID THAT WERE INAPPORIATE. I ONLY HOPE THAT NOONE ELSE HAS TO GO THROUGH WHAT I DID.

I have been a patient of Dr. Poser's for at least 10 years now. I was bitten by a dog when I was younger and Dr. Poser was on call that day. Not only was he caring and concerned about how I was feeling but he kept making sure I was ok with everything he was doing to sew my face back together. The dog bit my nose and punctured right below my eye cavity. I could have been heavily scared with the amount of damage I had. Dr. Poser had to later reconstruct my nose to what it had looked like before the attack. I was so happy with the results that 5 years later I went back for a breast augmentation and liposuction. Dr. Poser showed the same kind of care and concern for me that he did when I was in the ER. He took his time to discuss everything with me to make sure I was fully aware of all my options. The outcomes are absolute more then I thought possible. My scars are barely visible on my face (after the dog bite) and my augmentation looks very natural which is just wanted I asked for. Something I didn't know before is that Dr. Poser is a hand surgeon as well. I guess they are known for having very good stitching/sewing skills, makes me think that's why my scaring is so minimal. I have read the other review on this page and I have to say that it sounds like that patient had problems before she saw Dr. Poser and should not be blame Dr. Poser for trying to fix those for her. From what I have read on Dr. Poser, it looks like he has been practicing for at least the last 26 years, so he seems to be doing something right. I suggest to anyone thinking about visiting Dr. Poser, you should because he is a great Doctor. All I can say is Dr. Poser gave me the best results I could have asked for with such a level of professionalism, that he is the only Plastic Surgeon I would recommend to family and friends.

John Poser disfigured me. He performed a rhinoplasty on me with disasterous results. He totally collapsed my left nostril and destroyed the normal projection of the tip of my nose. He took too much cartilage out and left me with a flat sunken-in nose with hard edges of cartilage showing through the skin and a mangled nostril. Then he proposed adding a FAT GRAFT of all things to cover up the sunken-in part on the bridge of my nose and acted like the rest of it looked great. In the end he denied that these were his results. He is totally dishonest and untrustworthy. He took advantage of me when I was very young. I can not express how horrible the results were and how much I have suffered from it. It cost me $3K to be disfigured. I have had two surgeries so far that cost me over $15,000 to try to fix what he did to me. I am about to have a third that will cost $14,000 and am just hoping and praying to look normal again. Check the Florida Medical Board Practioner Profiling at www.doh.state.fl.us/MQA/profiling/index.html for his records. He has had multiple disciplinary actions against him and has had to pay over $1 millon in liability claims. There are lots of competent plastic surgeons out there, do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this QUACK!!!
