Dr Thornquist is a great doctor. He is great with kids and adults. He is clearly very intelligent. He takes the time to talk to you and explain everything he is doing. Waits are long in the waiting room, but that is because he is giving everyone the care they should get when visiting the eye doctor.

I suffered from a slight crossing of my eyes that was unsuccessfully corrected when I was three years old by another doctor. I was extremely apprehensive about surgery in general. Needless to say, Dr. Thornquist and Dorice walked me through(actually held my hand) the entire process. I am so so happy I did this and now am proud of my eyes. This would never have happened without their kindness. In all other regards, I was pleased but mostly with Dr. Thornquist's ability and proficiency in his field

I am a mother of 2 and my oldest has been going to Dr Thornquist since she was 9 moths old. She is 8 years old now and I travel 1 1/2 hours for her appointments. My daughter is very comfortable going to that there. The doctor and staff are so great. I highly recommend this doctor. As a mother, its not easy finding a doctor that you and your children are comfortable with and when you find that one. For my family Dr Thornquist is that ONE!!! 5 stars from my 8 & 5 year olds

Dr. Steven Thornquist performed strabismus surgery on my son. Surgery was very unsuccessful. After surgery doctor looked lost, disappointed and had no explanation for his performance. He offered us to see a specialist. I wouldn’t recommend him!!!
