When I knew Him Dr. Shimizu was a skillful, thoughtful and kind physician.
It has been many years, but I hope he checks my page on facebook sometime under Becky Peirce Morton. I wish him and his practice, his family and his friends' the very best.. I also pray that all who do pray will give this most ethical man, our Pres. Elect B. Obama a real chance. He is a man who wants to change things for the better.. After going back to college later in life; I can tell you I believe medicine should not be based on the $ , but on the hypocratic oath, not the hypocritical oath.. I have seen alot both sides of the border and now reside in Canada. One thing is for sure. So many so called 'believers' talk about the sacredness of life; yet these same people would allow their neighbors to suffer or die because they did not have the priviledge of the right Insurance Co. or PPO. I will never forget what happened when my own Dad sent for me and insisted that I be the one he wanted to speak with when he was deathly ill; but was not getting the care he should have.. was also in horrendous pain, and what he asked of me was something I never expected! For him to have gone through what he did, something was terribly wrong in California and the states... Here , I have seen something else.. Life comes always before paperwork!! So it should be, so its hats off to those people who have stayed in this country and dedicated so much of their time because they believe one life is as important as another.. Becky Peirce Morton
