Dr. Lee is a kind and compassionate man who is well respected by his peers who referred him too me. His staff are professional and upbeat. I wouldn't go anywhere else for the kind of care I need here.

Not at all, they had plenty of staff members to help me whenever I needed assistance

he was professional and kept me well informed.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He put down incorrect info on my chart and when I politely asked that it be amended after finding about it, he wrote even more damming info on my chart. This has affected my treatment as his report follows me. It could also affect my getting insurance in the future. I had heard he was a wonderful doctor and that was what I expected but he was 30 minutes late for my endoscopy, and I was his first case in the morning. Without any apology or even an acknowledgement that I was concerned about the procedure, he went ahead with it. I was not fully sedated and fought so hard. As a sexual abuse survivor it triggered my PTSD and this was after I had informed his staff that I needed to be fully sedated to the point where I could follow directions but not be fully conscious. I have had 4 different procedures over my 50+ years on this planet and this was the first time I was ever treated so unprofessionally.
His records follow me and I am powerless over his blatant ego (IMO) and inability to accept that he is human and put down the wrong info. When I went to another gastroenterologist, he quoted dr. lee's report ( I use the lower case d on purpose here) and discredited my symptoms.
This was my experience and I am sure that other people must have had a better one or else he would be out of business. I am not qualified to pass judgement on his technical abilities as I am not a Doctor, just qualified to tell my own experience of being his patient. I now seek treatment at Standford.
His staff are wonderful however and they were much more professional than their boss. If I could give him a minus 10, I would.
