THE STAFF IS PROFESSIONAL AND MOST CERTAINLY FRIENDLY ENOUGH.
THE DR. ANSWERED EVERY SINGLE ONCE OF MY QUESTIONS. THE DR. WAS VERY SLOW AND CAREFUL WITH THE SURGERY HE PERFORMED. I FELT VERY SAFE AND WELL CARED FOR BY THE DR AND HIS STAFF. THE DR. IS BRILLIANT AND CARING AND I AM SO GLAD THAT I FOUND SURGEON.

His staff was friendly enough, but he is clueless. He ran a bunch of tests (for which I was billed $1100 for the first visit. He completely mis-diagnosed me. He told me I was depressed (?) and should seek counseling with his wife who just happened to be a counselor. He also said I should take a yoga class to get in touch with myself. Thankfully, I found a great doctor who correctly diagnosed me as having acute sinus issues that required surgery which I had last year.
This doctor is completely out of touch. I would not go back to him if he were the last doctor on earth.

I agree with previous reviews...wish I had read them prior to my super weird appointment with very strange Dr. K. Went for a minor ailment which was barely addressed. Instead, Dr. K. submitted me to x-rays and surgical probing of my nose and throat ($1,600 worth). After the very uncomfortable and unnecessary probing, he spent 30 minutes telling me I should TALK TO MY JAW JOINTS and MASSAGE MY THIRD EYE every night. This guy is definitely WEIRD. I am filing a complaint with the Medical Board of California. Very disturbing and creepy experience.

Dr. Klausner was the doctor on call for my son's physician.
He wanted to charge us a $365 initial office visit. (He did not accept our insurance so I had offered to pay cash.) I said that was not in the spirit of covering for another doctor so he did agree to charge us for a normal office visit. We waited 74 minutes past our appointment time. He was rough and rude and condescending and combative and in general it was a horrible experience. He also mentioned several times that he has better things to do than see Dr. Purcelli's patients. I have seen my share of doctors in my life and he was the most unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone under any circumstances. Perhaps it is time for him to retire. He really does not enjoy what he is doing.

I was referred to Dr. Klausner by a co-worker and was hopeful that he could help me with my sinus problems. I met with him several times and each meeting got stranger and stranger. The consultations started out OK, with the exception of an hour long wait each time to see with absolutely NO other patients in his office (not sure if he has any other patients!). Then I was run thru a battery of useless test having nothing to do with my sinuses and was shuttled from room to room while he left me alone for extended periods. When he was with me, the conversations were strained and just plain weird and uncomfortable. What Dr. Klausner does apprea to be good at is BILLING. I had to fight with my insurance company to not pay him as all he would do is bill, bill, bill. Finally since I would not pay, he turned me over to a collection agency and tried to ruin my credit!

RUN FROM THIS GUY!

I recently visited Dr. Klausner. He refused to answer my questions about my sinus condition, instead going on and on with lengthy metaphorical digressions about generalized issues of communication and so forth. He then said I needed to schedule another appointment to get my questions answered, because he was too busy and didn't have time! ( I had waited an hour past my appointment time to see him!)
I had come there to review the results of a recent CAT scan, but he he would not show me the report although he had it in his hand, saying he didn't lilke his patients to read the reports. It took some insisting on my part to get it, but he made sure that it was after the consultation was over.
He referred to the possibility of surgery, but then when I asked him for more information about it, he claimed that he had not actually recommended it and that I misunderstood him. A confusing, frustrating and disturbing experience. Throughout, his attitude was entirely patronizing. I left upset, and without my main question answered.
I, like another reviewer on insiderpages.com, also had an instrument stuck up my nose with no warning.
