The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. They were somewhat easy to reach in an emergency. They didn't answer the call at first, but did eventually call me back. The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. The office was easy enough to find. Not well educated on auto-immune/infectious diseases. On a recent visit he was visibly upset & was rude when I asked for treatment a specialist I saw last month had told me I should be prescribed. He wanted no part of it, and I was shocked because he is normally very nice & seems concerned for his patients. I've been ill for 2 years, under his care and he knows I am disabled, out of work, no insurance & on the verge of foreclosure & becoming homeless. I paid for this visit out of pocket and was yelled at, had my new blood work results and paperwork slammed down on the exam table, and after telling me there was no way he would help me, he just said "I have to go" and ran out of the room.
- I think my jaw is still on that floor. It may possibly be he was having a bad day, or upset that the specialist pointed out to me that Dr Miller had missed in the labs he ordered 2 yrs ago that showed I was positive for a virus, a parasite, and CBC levels were so way off that I should have been treated back then on that 1st visit, not 4 months later when my entire system had crashed. Now I have multiple illnesses and still haven't been treated properly. The specialist is too expensive, & I am unsure about returning to Dr Miller. He has been wonderful for years, but this episode was so disturbing to me that I'm afraid to go back. He gave me no other options or thoughts, didn't even try to talk to me. His outburst, agitated behavior and dismissal really upset me to the point I left in tears. I'm still suffering and could possibly die from these illnesses. With no money or insurance, he was my last hope. Especially when he was so worried for me last year that he tested me for brain tumors/cancer/lesions, I am now so incredibly disappointed in him.
So, I guess for basic care he is fine. Do not waste your time if you are really ill or have strange symptoms ~ go to the E.R. or a specialist if you have insurance.
