I also read the poor reviews and felt like I was seeing a completely different doctor in a totally different office with a completely different staff. My check in had a minor glitch and the young man who was the receptionist went out of his way with a cheerful attitude to take care of the problem successfully. The waiting room was a bit cramped, but I didn't come to see the doctor because he had a luxurious or cramped waiting room. I came to see him because of my family doctor's trust in his skills and he's familiar with all of the neurosurgeons. The waiting room is a non-issue. I also had to wait a little over an hour which was no beg deal to: 1. If he is taking that much time with the patients ahead of me, I knew he would take that much time with me; 2. Rather than moan and complain, I went to the hospital cafeteria and ordered a hamburger and fries and read my book til it was time to go back. I enjoyed that time and found it very relaxing. Their hamburger and fries were great, by the way. As soon as I got back, they took me back to the exam room where I only had to wait 5 to 10 minutes at the most. When he came in, he had an air about him that made me feel very relaxed. His beard was a bit scruffy which I rather enjoyed as mine was also and we teased each other. His examination was extremely thorough. He listened to my fears and concerns and calmed me down and assured me that surgery didn't even enter his mind. He suggested a treatment regimen that I was excited about and which was a great relief to me. I don't believe that I could find a finer neurosurgeon in Louisville. When I checked out, the personnel were friendly and courteous. They were cheerful and patient as I asked alot of questions Anybody who goes to Norton Audobon complex knows ahead of time that they are going to have parking issues. It is stupid to hold the doctor responsible for this. My only response to this is to "Man UP", find a spot and quit moaning.

I have read the somewhat nit picking reviews, and it is a little annoying for me. I had a ruptured brain aneurysm, in a sudden emergency situation. Dr. Nazar was the doc I was assigned, and he not only saved my life, but I had no long-term problems afterwards. I had brain surgery after he was sure I was stable, and I consider the outcome to be a miracle! My Mother died from the same thing when she was only 46. At the time I was 38, it has been almost nine years and I could not be better. I am so blessed that Dr. Nazar was on call that night when I was brought to the ER.
