I would never recommend this doctor or his staff. The staff treats new clients like they are a bother. A few of the girls couldn't be troubled to assist me and one yelled at me when my primary care doctor failed to fax over some documents. (BTW - my doctor had faxed them twice - she showed me the fax confirmations.) Clearly Dr. Schecter's employees could not be troubled to assist a patient or offer respectful service.

I was surprised when the doctor offered the same variety of service as his staff stating he was more interested in getting home to a basketball game to another patient. After his staff made me wait 35 mins, the doctor accused me of being late and ill prepared. I felt that his tone and attitude was rude and insulting. It did not appear that he had my file or any documentation and seemed completely unprepared for my visit - in fact, I don't even think he knew why I was there even though this information had been sent to his office numerous times. For a person who claimed to me to be a "specialist" in his field, he would certainly benefit from some basic training in common decency and bedside manner. To me, this doctor and his staff failed in all aspects of medical service. If you happen to go see a doctor, the only bit of advice I can provide is to remember that the staff is a reflection of the service you will receive from the doctor. Poor staff = poor doctor.
