Too much in a rush; pushes injections and not interested in exploring other avenues. Dropped me after surgery because I chose not to have a biologic...nothing else she could do for me. I would not recommend.

I went to Dr. Gradzka for treatment for Lyme and fibromyalgia. Like others have noted, I found her to be very judgmental, reckless with medication prescription (not examining interactions and stopping medications "cold turkey). She does not listen and is very impatient if you do not seem to show improvement as on her timetable. I had to bring another party with me to visits to make sure that I was not perceiving her behavior incorrectly. After several visits, this person admonished me to not return because surely there was been treatment to be had elsewhere. In total I saw Dr. Gradzka for two years and wish that I had made the decision that this was NOT quality care much sooner.

You end up waiting an average of an hour each visit. She is very disorganized and at times can be rude and dismissive. I do believe she knows her stuff, but the inconsistency of her personality can make it hard to tell.

Dr. Gradzka is very opinionated and even if you do have disability, she confirms that your disability is real, SHE DOES NOT BELIEVE IN PERMANENT DISABILITY! She will issue parking permits and will a temporary one ad nauseum, but never will grant a permanent one. Same goes with paperwork if you are pursuing Social Security Disability or the like. Her nurse Kate a joy and you actually feel sorry for her. Her front desk staff, Zach, can be helpful and is always consistent. Her other assistant, Desiree is unprofessional and is reminiscent of a pre-teen at a rock concert.

Despite her many accolades and "Top Doc" features in the Washingtonian, you can do better!
