I have plantar fasciitis in my heel.
Dr. Newnam was rude and abrasive on the 1st visit.
She barks orders to her staff and the act like they are afraid of her.
She wouldn't let me see my xray of my foot, gave me minimal and rushed advice on how to cure it (which did not work). she hurriedly RIPPED OUT the soles of my shoes without asking and very quickly cut out some generic insoles she had that did not work; when I asked if there was a store or website I could get special shoes for my feet she said NO abruptly.; the 2nd time I went she gave me a PAINFUL cortisone shot in the foot; She was impatient the 2nd time I went that it hadn't been cured yet. She did NOT numb my foot before the shot and it was EXTREMELY painful, plus very sore the following 2 days. I had no warning of the pain involved.
SO I just found out from a friend that the doctor is supposed to NUMB your foot before the cortisone shot because it is too painful without some sort of numbing.
Also their doctor got CUSTOM inserts for their shoes. I got these generic ones that are not workinog.
I can't say enough how awful Dr. Newnam is. I was shocked, and really should have said something at the time but was too shocked to come to my senses and say something.
