I recently became a patient of Gray Station Neurology. I am very impressed! I suffer from epilepsy(which is a new condition for me). Dr. Wright did several examinations to rule out any other problems that may have triggered my epilepsy and i was so grateful for that. I feel that I am being treated like a human not just a patient! This is one of the finest Dr.'s I have ever seen. His staff was wonderful, they made me feel welcomed from the moment I came in to the moment I left. I never remember any employees names but at Dr. Wrights office there are like family and I have only been there two times. Kendra, Mary Helen, Sharron, Clayton, Bridgit and Pepper are all wonderful people. I don't dread going to his office because I know the staff will treat me with respect and I will be properly treated. The wait time was also not a problem, which can be at a specialty dr. I LOVE GRAY STATION NEUROLOGY!!!

Very thorough. I would definitely recommend him to anyone searching for a neurologist. He spent as much time as I needed explaining results to me.

I had the EMG test, and I was really nervous about it. It involves a series of small electrical shocks and measurements for the nerves. My daughter (15) also needed the same test. We were extremely anxious. Honestly, there were a few that were more uncomfortable than others, when the mild shock was given... but Dr. Wright and his nurse were so great!!! They told us ahead of each shock, how long shock would last (in most cases a second or two). He informed me which would be more uncomfortable than others, and he kept a countdown for me. Four more to go, three more to go. The needle portion was amazingly ok. Both my daughter and I said that only two were pretty uncomfortable, and the rest made us think, 'that is it. I thought it would be worse than that.' If you have to have this test done, your nervousness is understandable, but really do not sweat it. They will take good care of you and make you as comfortable as possible. :) My daughter (who cried ahead of time) got up smiling and said, 'Wow, not nearly as bad as I expected it to be, what a relief.'

I have finally found a doctor who takes me seriously and cares enough to try to help. All of the staff in the office that I have worked with so far have been kind and professional and made me feel welcome.
