I was very impressed with my results of the surgery. I have had no further issues and this had been a ongoing problem for years. Dr. Ashford is s very caring and concerned doctor, I feel that he always takes my concerns serious and he is very knowledgeable. I have recommended him and the clinic to several people.

I had an appt. the day before I appeared, thinking I was scheduled. The receptionist, techs and Dr. Ashford were all very accommodating and took care of my every need without making me feel like I was an imposition.

Staff/facility and doctors here at MN women's care has really great service and are very welcoming. Appointments are on time and if you need to change they are more than happy to work around with your busy schedule and everyone is always friendly. I had a cesarean delivery with Dr.Ashford. Everything went well, he's very knowledgable and make you feel comfortable about a C-section considering this was my first. I would definitely recommend Dr.Ashford and MN women's care to family and friends!

Dr. Ashford performed a partial hysterectomy on me using the Davinci and he did an amazing job! Before I had the surgery, we tried various other treatments and when we decided to move forward with the surgery he was very thorough in explaining the process. After the hysterectomy, he met with me in the hospital and answered all my questions for recovery. I did have some minor complications with vaginal spotting but it wasn't due to his work. He personally called me to discuss steps to determine how to best treat my symptoms. He is very dedicated to his patients and I have minimal scarring because of his talent at this surgery. Instead of 5 incisions I have only 4! I highly recommend him!

Dr. Melvin Ashford is the best OB doctor I had. He did a very great job helping me regarding my pregnancy and I appreciate what he done for me. All the staff are wonderful and always willing to help me.

After finding out from my prior doctor that was in need of a hysterectomy due to a large fibroid, I searched for second opinions. This led me to Dr. Ashford. There was no question in my mind after our first visit that he was the right choice. The staff and Dr. Ashford have been discreet, kind and thorough. I appreciate Dr. Ashford's clear and honest answers to my questions and options. I greatly appreciate the concern and effort you put into the surgery. I believe my recovery could be much harder had you not been so knowledgeable and thorough. Recovery and the post-op visit went wonderful. I am full of many questions and gratefully they have the patience. I will highly recommend Dr. Ashford and his office to any woman who has concerns or is looking for a doctor. Thank you!

dr. ashford delivered my baby girl in august-whom im holding right now so excuse the typing. to keep it simple he was amazing and much better experience than my first pregnancy. he took care of everything and made me feel secure even with the added worry of a heart issue.

I have had nothing but great results with Dr. Ashford. He delivered my baby boy on May 9, 2014 and has worked very hard with me to fix all of my bladder issues. It has been a blessing to find a Dr. like Dr. Ashford.

I first met Dr. Ashford when I went into the clinic for what I thought might be a miscarriage. It turned out I had miscarried and Dr. Ashford delivered the news. He is very knowledgable and has a great bedside manner. I instantly felt comfortable with him and my husband liked his as well. Two years later Dr. Ashford delivered my first child via c-section and then 13 months after that he delivered my 2nd child via c-section. With my 1st birth I didn't know I was going to have a c-section. I was induced and then 30 hours later I had surgery. Dr. Ashford made regular visits to my room and kept me informed of my options and what he thought was best for me and baby. I never doubted his recommendations. He also performed my tubal ligation and he took it very seriously making sure I understood it was permanent and it's the route I wanted to go. I have referred several friends to Dr. Ashford and the Nurse Practitioners that work along side him and they have all been happy with the referral as well. I highly recommend Dr. Ashford and his clinic.
