They really need to clean or sterilize the office more. They didn't seem like they wanted to listen to almost everything I had to say. They just have a basic listings page. I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. This was the worst doctors office I have ever been to. I got there at 1:45 for my appt at 2:00. I DID NOT see the doctor until 2:50!!! And, out of the total hour and 45 mintues there, I spoke to the doctor for a total of 2 minutes! I came to him about a back problem, and precribed me steroids and told me to come back next week! Seriously!!!! If I could take back my time and money I would. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
I recently visited Dr. Lewis after a bad step off a curb injured my left foot. The pain was intense and walking was difficult for several days, so I feared it might be broken. I did some research online and it seemed that my symptoms were consistent with a broken 5th metatarsal. I immediately went to Dr. Lewis for an x-ray. While it was very easy to get in for an appointment, Dr. Lewis spent a total of 2 minutes with me, never once looking up to make eye contact or reciprocate the handshake I offered upon meeting. His Physician's assistant x-rayed my foot and commented that I wouldn't be walking if my "self diagnosis" were accurate. Dr. Lewis looked quickly at 1 of 2 x-rays taken, told me I was fine, prescribed Motrin and said I'd be good by Monday. A week and a half later, after continued pain walking and swelling, I saw a highly recommended podiatrist named Dr. Robson, who confirmed almost instantly upon looking at the x-ray that my 5th metatarsal was indeed fractured and that there appeared to be some ligament damage as well. I learned that this ligament damage was undoubtedly made worse by the previous weeks of walking around without a boot. My overall feeling with Dr. Lewis was that his practice was based on a model of accumulating as many visitation fees in a day as possible, rather than administering competent care. His complete disregard for my well being as his patient could have actually caused me long term harm.
