The touch of professionalism is lacking.
I have been referred by colleague and I selected him as my family physician. I have given my insurance details and they happily accepted it.
I went for couple of check ups in a span of 6 months and I got a bill of $200 after some times.
I checked with my insurance and they told me he is out of network and they will cover only half of the charges.

I dont know why in the first time place they accepted my insurance and if they knew he was out of network and that too as my PCP.

They answer was they accept every insurance even if it covers 50%.

They sent me the bill after 8 months and such a long period for billing all the charges that happend in the past 8 months.

I informed the same to my friend who referred me and he also found similar charges as we were under same insurance. The office didnt have the moral responsiblty to tell the existing clients if he is going out of network.

Beware ..! Before every consultation check whether he is innetwork. He can go out any time

Overall he lacks Professionalism and his billing is a screw up.
