They always have an immediate answer for me when I call with a question. They would never try to get me to make an appointment unless I really needed one. It was nice to see them treat their staff with so much respect. It was obvious that they had a good relationship with all of their staff members. This provider has helpful information available online, but its hard to find. I wish they had more of an online presence.

I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson's for several years along with my husband and children. Recently when my husband called to refill his medication he was told it would take about a day and if there were any problems they would call him. The following day my husband still had not recieved a refill. He called the office and they stated Dr. Johnson had not got to it yet. Several days passed and my husband made several more calls, the receptionist was annoyed at his calls and stated she still didn't know why it wasn't filled. After 7 days, 5 with no medication, my husband called and asked why it was taking so long and asked what he needed to do-make an appointment, pay a bill. The receptionist stated she would call him back. Finally, after 7days, mulitiple phone calls, and a man in need of his medication, he was told that the family should have recieved a letter stating we were no longer patients due to an outstanding bill. We never recieved the letter, but our issue is about the conduct and ethical procedures of the office. The office could have informed us 7 days prior as my husband was in need of his medication. The office was rude and appeared uncomfortable handeling the situation as the receptionist could not answer easy questions. Also, if a letter was mailed to us the office should have had the letter visable in the file and addressed the issue at the time of the call. This is an unfortunate experience for our family as we have endured office mistakes, rescheduled appointments due to Dr. Johnson attending to celebrities in town, and billing issues throughout the years but stayed for conveniece.
We have notified our insurance and will do what we can to spread the word that while Dr. Johnson might be an average doctor, the service, office ettiquette, and standards of care are not in place. In the end Dr. Johnson did us a favor, now we have a reason to find a family practice office that can match the standard of care they are charging with the services they provide.
