Dr Roisum seemed to be confused at times but was mostly helpful. It is almost humorous; I went in with a cast on my right arm and I was complaining of pain and instead of assuming it was my broken arm (which he had ex-rays of) he immediately started examining my left arm. I had to direct him to my broken arm. Maybe it was my fault for not stating it was my broken arm I was there for. I have been to Roisum multiple times and feel Dr. Roisums PA is more thorough and informed. There is one secretary at his clinic who is extremely rude over the phone. She has never been rude in person but multiple times she has been harsh, short, and abnormally unfriendly. One time I called to make an appointment and inquire about an outstanding balance. I specifically said " My name is ****** **** and I was wondering if I could make an appointment." She said "no." I was confused and said "no?" She said again "no" I asked why and she said I needed to talk to accounting. I was shocked at the blunt, rudeness. Overall the visits I've had have been okay and I don't mind blowing off a grumpy secretary to see a health care professional.

I was given a modest greeting when I walked in, then I was told to fill out the standard stack of papers. When I told them about my situation, they were somewhat understanding, but then brushed off most of my concerns as normal aging. They didn't try very hard to understand where I was coming from. They seemed to know what they were talking about most of the time, but I still wasn't very comfortable. The PA seemed to care about what i was talking about and ordered several tests. The nurse that drew the blood was great at it. I hardly even felt the needle. My major complaint was that I did not even see the Dr.. As soon as they finished with the blood draw I was walked to the window and they asked how I wanted to pay. The next day they called with the test results and told me that my numbers were in the normal range. When i asked what they were and what the range was I was surprised that I was barely in the range and that I would like to have the Dr or PA or someone else call me to talk about them.... Well that was a week ago and no call back. I am very disappointed with the service and that I wasn't even given the chance to see the Dr.

Bottom line. If you want expensive tests ran without the benefit of seeing a Dr. this is the place to go.
If you want someone to take you seriously, and to look you in the eye. This is not the place to go

There was lots of available parking at their office. I was glad that I didn't have to drive around looking for parking. I love that I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. Other places I've visited, seem to give up after they don't have an answer for me the first time, but not here. I could tell that they took pride in their office's appearance. It was very well organized and well taken care of.

Dr. Roisum has been my doctor since I was 13-14 years old. Now at 27, I still see Dr. Roisum for my annual visits and any health issues. I work at the hospital and Dr. Roisum has a very good reputation for family and sports medicine! His PA is also great to work with! I won't see anyone else.
