I have been coming to this office since I moved to the area four years ago. my husband and I both go see DR. Feldman until today. I had some major swelling in my ankles and feet wile on vacation a few days agao and after researching the heart disease in my family, I decided it was best to contact them asap to see if the Dr. could fit me in. The lady that answered was very rude. She said I owed them $52 from 2 years ago and I needed to pay that before she would schedule an appointment or even speak to me further. I kindly explained there must an error, because I filed Bankruptcy in Feb and it was discharged in May and all my debt was written off due to a hardhsip. She argued and said I needed proof of the BK so I said I would bring in discharge papers or have my attorney call her office. I then asked if he could see me that it was serious and she REFUSED to schedule anything for me over $52 that I don't even owe. I was willing to pay the minor amount just to see the Dr. but after she refused medical attention over $52 I said I was going to call another Doctor to get treatment and my attorney can contact her for proof of discharge. All I wanted was medical attention and this office cared more about a $52 payment than my health. I will never give this office a dime of my money and will not refer them either. $52!! She was so rude about it and when my husband called her back asking why they refused to see me, she said I was not a patient if I was in collections. Nice pratice, huh? I was trying to explain to her that that debt was writen off and she argued with me when I could have been calling another Physician or on my way to the ER! I will report them to the BBB as well for refusing treatment.
