This Optical provider is excellent as far as the Physician and the evaluation you receive. Unfortunately, I experienced two episodes of not being informed of additional charges above what my insurance plan covered and due to that lack of information I was charged $360.00 without prior notice and acceptance/authorization. When I addressed this with the Office Manager she advised me that this was an out of the ordinary event and she admitted "mistakes were made", but she also spoke at the same time as me which was not only unprofessional it elongated the process of resolving the issue. The process of simply obtaining glasses and contacts has taken 3 weeks and I now have to return my glasses and start all over to correct the order and remove the additional options I was not offered nor did I authorize. I also was not informed that there is a $100.00 fee to return one week after the initial examination to have a "contact lens fitting". That consisted of the Physician getting a pair of trial lenses out of a closet, having me put them in and then having me verify I could read letters on the wall and him briefly looking at the lenses on my eyes. This clearly could have been accomplished at the initial exam and I definitely should have been informed there is a $100.00 fee for the appointment. If you have no concerns regarding cost, informed consent and customer service, this provider will be an excellent choice of an Optical provider for you.
