We have had TERRIBLE service from this woman who calls herself a Dr. The time she spends with a patient is very minimal. Her office staff is less than helpful. She is RUDE and inconsiderate!!! Do NOT go to her if you want quality care!! We had seen her for 2 years. Then on our last apt (3 years ago) we had to cancel our last apt due to no insurance and could not afford to see her for diabetes.

WE finally got good insurance, called to schedule a visit (3 years later)and she could not get us in for 2 months. Today we went in for our apt with current blood work and medical files for the past 3 years waited for 50 minutes. Barbara Widom herself came out into the waiting area and said, "We have a 3 strike policy. Since you have canceled 3 different appointments, (keep in mind this was over a 2 year period, 3 years ago) I can not see you today. You will have to get a Dr. note from your Primary Care Physician and reschedule" FYI.. We have a PPO, had ALL of our medical records, and current blood work. She was simply being very difficult. I will NEVER recommend this lady as she is not a Dr. she only has a God complex! I will drive 100 miles out of my way to see a Dr. for endocrinology before I would ever walk in her office again!

Dr. Widom doesn't see you as a person she sees you as lab chart. If your numbers (Blood work) are within range and you still have symptoms she denies it's from your thyroid condition and tells you to see another doctor. She is not a nice doctor which could be overlooked if she was a good doctor but, she is neither. I would not see her again, she rushed through my appointment and made me feel like I was wasting her time.
