I was referred to this doctor by my primary care physician to have a mole checked. The earliest appointment they were able to give me was 3 months out, then the office called a few days before the appointment to reschedule it. I was unable to come in at the time they wanted to reschedule, and the next available appointment was 4 months later! I went to that and the doctor wanted to schedule a biopsy, so they scheduled an appointment for the next week--then called me the next day saying they needed to reschedule it! I tried to call back to do that, but they're only in the office 3 days a week, so now I have to wait until next week--and this is for a biopsy, something that I feel a sense of urgency about (even if the office apparently doesn't). On the plus side, Dr. Schaffer is very friendly and kind--I just wish getting an appointment wasn't such an ordeal. When I make an appointment, I arrange my work schedule so that I can honor my commitment. To have the office call and expect me to drop my plans to come in at their convenience, rather than honoring their commitment, implies that my time is of far less value than theirs, and I find this offensive.

The waiting room was comfortable. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. I could tell that they've been doing their job well for quite a while. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up. They strive to maintain a professional appearance and look their best at all times. They seemed like they were using fairly modern treatment methods and procedures.
