Let me start by saying that I had never had a bad dental experience before seeing a dentist at affordable dental care. First of all, they make you go to two separate appointments - one for x-rays, one for cleaning. They take an excessive amount of x-rays (so that they can bill more to insurance). Several shots of the exact same spot were taken. They were all taken at the same time, so none of these images were "re-dos". The doctor abused my gums so badly that I now have a mouth full of cold sores. It felt like she was using a razor blade to examine them. I was not allowed to spit, just ordered to swallow between assaults to my gums. All of this and I didn't even get my teeth cleaned. The problem is, now I'm afraid to go back.

The dentist literally argued with me and twice tried to give me a prescription that I was allergic too. Fortunately I know what I can and cannot have based on experience. If you can avoid this place, do it! Not only did I experience excessive oral pain after my appointment, it took me a long time to recover. If I had known how much pain I was going to be in after my appointment, I wouldn't have gone. They could work on improving their level of customer service here- overall I left unimpressed and angry.
