I went to the dentist every 6 months until i made Boyd and Boyd my primary dentist. I canceled my remaining appointment and found another dentist. At the first appointment Boyd and Boyd suggested procedures beyond my healthcare coverage without informing me of the extra costs. They also rescheduled me to 4 month increments after only 1 visit then back to 6 month increments at the second visit. I felt like i was hurried through the process so they could get their money.

I scheduled a new patient visit in July and they could not see me until August. I set up the appointment and waited. Two days before my appointment they called and said that something came up and I had to reschedule for October. I did. Then the day of my appointment they called me AGAIN to reschedule. Now the new appointment was November. I verified my appointment and left work early to get to the November appointment only to be asked at reception whether I had verified the appointment. I replied that I had and they said there was a glitch with the computer system and I did not really have this appointment and sent me home. I set up one more appointment for December. Two days before the appointment I got another phone call and guess what- they wanted to reschedule. I told them to just forget it and promptly called my insurer to get a new primary care dentist for 2012 .My husband was luckier than me- he did actually see them once in the nearly half a year we spent trying to see this dentist. He also was rescheduled three times and they ultimately split his appointment up into an x-ray and a later cleaning. They never did schedule his cleaning or even call back about the x-ray.

I would never visit them again. I was very disappointed.. My husband is covered under my health plan through United Health Care. The rude insurance claim rider wanted my social security number for work they did on my husband. This is not about the 92 dollars. All one hears of today is identity theft. I did not go to the dentist so they would not need my social security number. Upon further checking with United Health Care, they advised that all the information was on my husband's card and that they do not need my social security number. It is for their records only. I advised them of this and they still ranted and raved. Such a rinky dink outfit
