This place is money hungry. The "medical" treatments do not work. All I get from injections are bruises. The only doctor worth anything is at the Alcoa location. The Kingston Pike office gave me false results with my "free x-rays." The doctors were friendly, but pushy. They even asked me to miss work for an appointment. When I missed an appointment, they wouldn't stop calling. Three times a day every single day. Like I said, this place is money hungry. Something fishy is going on at this business.. If you are looking to find a great chiropractor, look elsewhere.

I never write reviews but I feel it's warranted here.

Came to Brown on a friend's recommendation with acute lower back and sciatic nerve pain. Had a x-ray taken that showed lower spine compression. Had my first adjustment that day which consisted of 15 minutes on a traction table and a very quick neck adjustment. I felt a bit better after the first appointment, but learned this was mostly because of the traction table.

There is little-to-no privacy. You are on traction tables literally 6 inches away from other patients and you get adjusted in an open room with staff and other patients present. I felt like I was on an assembly line. When I'm at a chiropractor, I don't want to hear another person's neck popping right beside me!

I was scheduled to go for 10 visits but stopped going. After 6 visits, the chiropractor hadn't once touched my lower back. I felt no relief between the time I started going to Brown and the time I stopped. Not only did the doctor not address my lower back issues, I was asked repeatedly by staff to vote for Brown for the best chiropractor in Knoxville. I thought that was pretty unprofessional.

I found chiropractor in north Knoxville who spends at least half an hour of one-on-one time with her patients. At Brown I saw the doctor for 3 minutes tops before he moved on to the next patient lying next to me. If you want cheap, one-size-fits-all treatment, this is the place for you. Otherwise, do not come to Brown if you are expecting quality care.

I've been going here for years. Literally, I've been going here longer than the majority of the staff have been working here. And yet they mostly still don't know who I am. Every time I come in for an appointment, a different staff member attends to me so I don't feel like I get personalized service at all.
New staff often does not appear confident or knowledgeable about using the machinery while hooking me up to it. This is very unnerving. It's like they hire someone, show them how to use the thing once, then let them go start "treating" people on it. Often they get it wrong and have to "do-over" the treatment.
Also, they always try to schedule you for another treatment the very next day. I'm not made of money and you aren't free! Just this morning they called me to "reschedule the appt I missed today" but I didn't even have an appointment - so they don't even know what's going on.
I've spent thousands of dollars here over the years and while I have had improvement physically, the mental side of my treatment has not really been addressed and I am finding myself overall not happy with the service.
Everyone is mostly friendly, but the lack of personalization, high rate of employee turnover and unsureness of the new employees has left me questioning why I bother.
I've begun looking for a new chiropractor. I hope I find one I'm happier with, because this isn't really cutting it anymore.
