They we prompt, caring, and attentive and all of my questions were answered. Their staff is the friendly and helpful. They are professional, and make the nerve-racking experience that much better. I was very satisfied with my visit. They were helpful and I left feeling encouraged.

I was scheduled for a retinal consult with Dr Lindstrom. I was concerned about the cost in that there are no preferred providers for Blue Cross in the entire state. I was told they could "balance bill" me and as I already have to pay over $900/mo for insurance, I did not want to get stuck with another big bill. I called and the office manager reassured me that I should come in and that the balance could be written off. After waiting 6 weeks for an appointment, and the usual eye testing,I was in the doctors office and Dr Lindstom did not see me! A different doctor came in and said if I wanted to see Dr Lindstom I would have to wait 45 more minutes because he was busy. I had a friend waiting for me, so I went with the other doctor. All he did was tell me that lasik surgery was not a good option, and that I should not consider doing anything about my high myopia. I was crushed! Later when I saw my optometrist in Wasilla who had wanted me to see Dr Lindstom, he told me that he sent me for that reason- to convince me not to have lasik. What a total waste of time and energy! Then to top it off, I started getting a bill for the balance due!! I was livid and after 6 mos and several phone calls, I told them I wouldn't pay it and thy decided to write it off. I was extremely disappointed in thi entire office. Because they are the only retinal consultants in the entire state- they just do whatever they want! To have an appointment with a specific doctor, and then to go through the tests, be sitting in the little office and in comes someone totally unknown--- was unacceptable. Make sure you will able to be seen by who you want!
