I wasn't worried about their equipment. It was safe and well taken care of. I didn't experience any unnecessary pain during my visit, and I was amazed at how much better I felt after I left. They have really great customer service here. They always put their customers first, regardless of the situation. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased.

I have been to several different dermatologists during my lifetime and this exerience was far below any acceptable standard/norm. The entire visit felt rushed. The skin examination was barely an overall glance. She missed concerning areas entirely. She said everything looked fine, but when I pointed out a mole that was concerning to me, suddenly that needed to be removed immediately. She walked over and stuck me with a needle before any warning, then started cutting without waiting even a few seconds for the lidocaine to take effect. She removed the mole (fairly large) only at the immediate visible edges by cutting at the base while lifting - not allowing a slightly larger area to be sure of clean borders. Then see burned the entire site with cautery and stuck on a bandage. Now I have a large hole that has to fill in slowly by secondary intention. Every other dematologist has made an eliptical incision and sutured the site closed. I have never encountered medical care that was this poor. She also spoke to me in a very demeaning way. It was clear to me that she had not reviewed the pages of information I was required to fill out for her at all - or she may have noticed I was also a physician. I will never go back to this physician for care.

I have been going to Dr. Greenwald for many years and have sent many family members to her. She is an excellent diagnostician..she quickly recognizes the issue and just as quickly gives you the options to rememdy the situation. Like most dermatologists in Cincinnati, it is hard to schedule your first appointment and you may have to wait a bit in the office once you get there, but she is worth it!
