This doctor keeps you waiting for hours! When I came to her with my thyroid problems she yelled at me in the office and told me that my problems were due to nursing my baby for a year (the recommended AMA length). Said that I'd had my children too close together (they were 2 1/2 years apart). Said that I needed to get a personal trainer (I workout at home 4 times a week). She gave me more ridiculous reasons for my problem, but wouldn't deal with it. I finally demanded a thyroid scan and it revealed that my thyroid was enlarged. It took her office 4 months to send me the results. Ridiculous! I am going to a new endocrinologist now. Don't waste your time on a doctor who yells at her patients.

Although I had to wait over an hour, it was worth it. It was my first visit to Dr. Bunick and she was extremely thorough and I was comfortable during the exam. She had me give blood and a 24hr urine sample as well as ultrasound of my liver, kidneys, gall bladder and everything else they could think of. We adjusted my meds and my blood sugar has taken a nose dive. The docotr is absolutely fabulous, I would recommed her to anybody that is having problems with their blood sugar. She treats the entire endoctrine system, not just the diabetes and boys does it work. I think very highly of her and her approach to treatment. She uses the "systems" approach.

Typical wait time is 4 hours, but the care you receive is worth it! Elaine Bunick is a genius! I was able to relax during my appointment here. Everyone makes sure you are comfortable and at ease. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. They should really allow for more time in between appointments if they want to keep any business. The waiting area here is rather cramped.

It was nice to hear how much the staff respected them. It made me that much more confident that I was under the care of a professional. They answered all of my questions. They were very responsive and gave me good information. I will definitely refer my friends and family here. They were great and I think more people should know about them. My appointments don't usually get canceled here, but it's not unheard of either. I never know, it's usually a 50-50 chance.
