I have seen Paul Smith Jr. (the father) a few times now and I must say that this guy is quite jaded and dismissive. After waiting a VERY long time to be seen, he's in and out of the room in about a minute. For the worst case of bronchitis I have ever had he tells me to take NyQuil. That's $150 worth of advice right there... I won't be back.

The thing I love the most about Dr. Smith (the son) is that he does not beat around the bush. He doesn't feed you a bunch of garbage and always tells you straight up what your issues/conditions are. He then tells you what the plan of action is and gives you the ability to choose based on your best options. I have never felt ignored nor do I feel their office is below par. Since I have moved to Cleveland, I have enjoyed the services the office provides. For example, I just got off the phone with them not 5 minutes ago to set up an appointment and I'm being seen on Wednesday. To me, that's awesome, dedicated, and prompt service.

One star seems like to much of an endorsement for this doctor. Dr. Smith's treatment of patients is lazy and negligent. I consistently wait at least 45 minutes to an hour to see the doctor and the appointment generally lasts fewer than 10 minutes. During one appointment I went in to talk about some medication I was taking and complained of having the sniffles. Dr. Smith then prescribed two shots (one steroid and one antibiotic), an oral antibiotic, and a breathing treatment. The visit cost me nearly $150 out of pocket and the treatments were not necessary. On another instance I went in complaining of headaches and dizziness, after running a full battery of blood work he diagnosed me with a relatively serious blood disease and failed to refer me to a specialist or fully explain the disease. My wife had similar negative experiences with the other doctor in the practice. Dr. Smith has a reputation for unnecessary treatments and minimizing presenting symptoms, oftentimes at the cost of his patient's health. I will never visit this practice ever again.

The restrooms at this provider's office were clean and well-maintained. You could tell that they cleaned them regularly. They never left me for an extended period of time and I never felt ignored. They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They didn't pressure me to buy anything I didn't need, which I really appreciated. I've been to other places that pressured me to buy stuff and it always made me very uneasy. The staff really knows what they're doing, and they know a lot about the company they work for. They're able to answer most of my questions, and the only ones they don't are the ones they need their boss's approval for.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. The chairs in their waiting room were definitely above average. I was comfortable. They're always able to answer simple questions over the phone. They only make me schedule appointments if necessary. I love that they are always more than happy to answer my questions, and actually welcome questions. I've felt awkward at some other places I've visited when I've tried to ask a lot of questions, but not here. They were ready to see me when I showed up for my appointment. I never had to wait for them to show up.
