I was one of Dr. Catalano's first patients, when he started practice in Bradenton. I had very bad, deep pockets of acne. He helped me clear it up, told me what to do to avoid it in the future, and made sure I used the proper products. Although a teenager, I believed him when he told me to stay out of the sun (hard to do at 16 in FL!) or I would age more rapidly and maybe get skin cancers. Several times during my life, I have gone to him for help. He is not a dr. to keep you coming in just for the money, but someone who sets a course of treatment, gets the problem under control, and says good-bye till you need him again. My skin does not have deep scars, thanks to him. My brother has had cancers removed, but I haven't, thanks to Dr. C. My sister-in-law has rough, dry skin that she is constantly moisturizing, because she tanned so much in her teens and 20's. I really don't mess with that stuff, as I don't need moisturizers except in the winter, when it is dry. When I am sizing up a dr., Dr. C. is one of the special few I use to measure the others by. This note is a big "thank you" to Dr. Philip Catalano.

I don't think I have ever been put on hold here for a long time and am so impressed with how quickly all of my questions are answered. There's nothing worse than having to wait on hold for a half an hour just to get someone to talk to you. I've been other places that left me unattended for quite awhile, but not here. They would never leave me unattended and they always go the extra mile to make me feel cared for. The waiting area here is extremely spacious. There is never overcrowding and everything is spaced appropriately. Not only did I find a parking spot right away, but I knew my car was safe because the spots were designated and close to the entrance. It is obvious that their office is cleaned regularly. It was fantastic.

They paid close attention to me and all of my questions were answered. One of the first things I noticed about this business was how many different areas of the building were handicap-accessible. I have been to other places where I couldn't tell how someone in a wheelchair could even enter, but they really spent a lot of time to accommodate people with all different needs. I didn't have to wait at all after I arrived for my appointment. They were running right on time, which is a really big deal for me. I was glad that they were located in a safe neighborhood. I've been to some other places where I was scared to get out of my car but not here. They're really great about taking their time with me, and they don't mind answering my questions. I've never felt like an annoyance to them no matter how many questions I have.
