I am surprised such a good doctor is in Hendersonville. He explained everything to me and took a lot of time with me. The nurses were very helpful and nice. My doctor had referred me to another endocrinology office nearby and it was such a bad experience, I did not want to see another one. But I'm glad I found Dr Dauphin because he really knew what he was doing. My thyroid was fixed by my 2nd visit and it's been out of whack for years! I even got my metabolism checked and met with the dietitian and am now losing weight effortlessly. My only complaint is that the exam rooms are a bit cold and he was running a little behind schedule but I'd definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a good endocrinologist.

I found out I have gestational diabetes and was referred here by my ob/gyn. Since I was already in my 31st week of pregnancy everyone was concerned with getting me in to see Dr. Dauphin as soon as possible.

While the doctor was very nice and helpful, his staff is horrible! My appointment was on Feb. 14 and I was shown how to prick my fingers to monitor my blood glucose throughout the day. I was also placed on medication, glyburide, to help control my sugars.

The medication was supposed to be called into my pharmacy no later than Feb. 15. It is now Feb 20 and they still have not called it in.

I have called repeatedly, but the phones are rarely answered. I have left multiple messages, but NONE of my phone calls have been returned. I am obviously worried about the effects Gest. Diab. will have on my unborn daughter, but there is no one there who will help me.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this practice to anyone!
