Todd E Thurston, MS, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr Thurston is a graduate of the University Of Alabama School Of Medicine. While there, he was one of the co-founders of the Equal Access Clinic which provides indigent care to the Birmingham area. He then attended the University of Kansas Medical Center where he completed an integrated plastic and reconstructive plastic surgery residency. He subsequently completed a craniomaxillofacial fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr Thurston is the Director of pediatric plastic surgery for Children's Hospital at Erlanger and serves as the region’s only craniofacial surgeon.
