She has a strong interest in regulatory issues that ensure the quality of her profession. As such, she has served on many state and national boards and committees. She has twice received the Outstanding Service Awardfrom the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT) and is the 2016 recipient of the Long-Term Service Award. Joni currently is an on-site reviewer for physical therapy schools for theCommission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education and serves on the FSBPT Board of Directors.
