Both of my parents were in the medical field, so it was always familiar to me. However, it was traveling away from home that made me realize I wanted to choose medicine as a career. My experiences on multiple medical mission trips inspired me to continue to care for the health of people in my own community.I am very fortunate to get to connect with and support others around me.
