Prior to Stanford, Dr. Blomkalns served as Division Chief of General Emergency Medicine and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs and Business Development at University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) Department of Emergency Medicine. Reflecting her dual passions for patient care and innovation, she also served on the Intellectual Property Advisory Committee and was the clinical liaison to the Office for Technology Development.
