Dr. Brodt is a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University, engaged in clinical care, teaching and research in cardiothoracic anesthesiology. Dr. Brodt has served on the SCA Board of Directors, founded the SCA Regional Anesthesia for Cardiothoracic Enhanced Recovery (RACER) Special Interest Group, and has had multiple roles in committees and task forces since attending her first SCA Annual Meeting and Thoracic Symposium in 2013.Dr Brodt has passion and scientific curiosity in a wide variety of clinical and research topics related to cardiovascular anesthesia and recovery, stemming from a drive to find effective, accurate and safe monitoring and analgesia for cardiac surgery patients.
